Crystal Structures Library

The full version of CrystalMaker includes over 400 fully-annotated crystal files, saved in CrystalMaker binary format for instant display. This is not just any database! Each file has been carefully designed to show the most informative view and model type for a structure; notebook information tells you about the structure's features and - wherever possible - detailed information about the original crystal structure refinement is given.

The library includes inorganic, organic, technological and mineral phases. There are over 240 minerals, including most of the minerals detailed in Deer Howie & Zussman's "Rock Forming Minerals" student edition! Ideal for teaching and for research!

New for 1999 is a new thematic mineral classification, available as an appendix. This gives easy access to ore minerals, gem structures, high-pressure minerals, and other useful groupings.
